obfs4 is a traffic obfuscation protocol that makes your Tor connection look like random noise. This helps bypass deep-packet inspection (DPI) systems used by ISPs and governments to detect and block Tor.
Each license is bound to a single device. If you need to transfer to a new Mac, contact support and we'll reset your device binding.
Privacy Protector has a 7-day offline grace period. If the license server can't be reached, it will continue working for up to 7 days after the last successful check. Your existing Tor connection is unaffected.
No. The app communicates only with the license server (to validate your subscription) and with the Tor network. No browsing data, DNS queries, or usage statistics are ever collected.

Yes — Stripe automatically generates VAT receipts for UK and EU customers. These are emailed after each payment and available in the customer portal.
